CUSTOM TAXIDERMY
My interest in Taxidermy started when I was a small boy. I was intrigued by any thing to do with nature , and double that if it had to do with wildlife. In 1969 when I was 14 years old , my Mother sent away for a correspondence course from the Northwestern School of Taxidermy located in Omaha Neb. In the 60s & early 70s they had a ad in every outdoor magazine in print. That started me down the path that would eventually lead me to a career in taxidermy & wildlife art. Other than those ancient lessons though the mail , I have been self taught , also for a short time the winter of 81/82 I worked for another taxidermist in Rigby Idaho. I was also active for many years in the Michigan Taxidermist Association. In fact I was present when the Association was formed in the early 80s & served three years on the board of directors. I consider my self fortunate to have witnessed the great changes that have occurred in the taxidermy industry these last few decades. I can only imagine what the future will bring.
It should be Exciting !
